Since 1984 Electra has developed advanced specialty polymer based inks and coatings for the global electronics industry.
Using our well-equipped laboratory facilities and a range of flexible partnership/development models, Electra provides bespoke materials and contract R&D services to a wide range of industry sectors and world-class OEMs.
Electra has extensive experience in a wide range of polymer technologies from heat cure epoxies, acrylics and polyimides through to UV curable acrylates and urethanes. Our processing expertise covers a wide range of application methods such as screen printing, spin-coating, roller-coating and spray.
This broad knowledge together with our unique development structure allows a fresh, fast paced approach to developing materials which solve a specific problem or help reduce our clients’ own time to market.
Our ink chemists and process engineers have been actively involved in projects targeted at incremental and step-change developments in printed electronics, wafer level packaging, mobile device and green energy technologies.
Given the proprietary nature of such projects, it is quite common for our development activities to be carried out under non-disclosure or joint development agreements.
